Holly is a gorgeous real old fashioned Crossbreed who is 12 years young! She is medium in size, and possibly a German Shepherd/Collie/Whippet type mix? She is in good health, and still quite active – she loves her walks! Holly has definitely been loved in her past, but sadly found herself unclaimed in stray kennels recently. She is very well behaved, knows lots of commands (sit, paw, lie down, roll over!) and is fully housetrained. She also walks nicely on the lead, and does respond well to her name, so after some bonding time with a new owner, we think she will be good off lead. She is fine with other dogs she meets on her walks, and could live with a laid back male dog, or on her own. We think she’d be best in a home where she won’t be left for more than a couple of hours per day. She is very lost in kennels, and is not happy at all, she doesn’t deserve to be homeless at her age, and longs for a loving retirement home ASAP.
