Lovely Alice is a 4 yr old Crossbreed (possibly Staffy/Bulldog) – she is medium sized and weighs around 23kg, so she is not a big girl. Alice is such a sweet, cuddly and affectionate girl who absolutely adores people – a typical Staffy type who is happiest snuggling up to a human on the sofa! She also LOVES to play with her toys – tennis balls are her favourite!! Alice is great around the house – she is housetrained and can be left for a few hours with no issues. She absolutely LOVES travelling in the car – it seems to make her feel safe and secure when she’s in the car. She does have some insecurities with walking – this is where her nerves kick in. She is currently too nervous to go for a walk directly from the house – we think that she finds street walks too busy and she will put the brakes on and pull to get back home. She is happier being driven from the house to quieter areas – she would love access to a secure private off lead field for her walkies, or just to quiet areas. Alice is reactive to dogs – especially if they bark at her she will react back. This is definitely a fear reaction, and she will need an understanding new family to help her slowly gain her confidence when she’s out and about, and make sure that she is given plenty of space from other dogs. We really hope that someone special out there will see Alice for the amazing, loving, playful sweet girl that she is, and can understand and support her with her worries of being out of the house on her walks. She really has SO much love to give her new family.
