**ADOPTED** BAILEY – pretty young Collie cross

Bailey is a very pretty small sized Collie cross girl who is just 11 months old. She is a really loving little lady who just wants to be with her people. Sadly she has had a tough start to life, so is nervous around new people at first, but only takes a few minutes to be their best friend! She is most nervous of men, but is fine once she knows them. Bailey is currently in a foster home with other dogs, but it does take her a while to get used to new dogs, and will snap at dogs she doesn’t know. She would really benefit from lots of positive socialisation with dogs (and people, and the big wide world!) to show her life isn’t scary and she doesn’t need to be afraid. Training classes for Bailey would be great. She is clean in the house, and can be left for a few hours (non destructive and clean), but doesn’t like being shut away from her people when she’s in the home, so would be happiest with free reign of the house. She walks well on the lead, and would like to find a reasonably active home as she’s a young dog who will have plenty of energy as she finds her confidence! She has previously lived with cats, but not for a few months, so would need careful intros to new cats. Bailey will make a fantastic, loyal girl for her lucky new owners, we are hoping to find a home with some experience in socialising sensitive young dogs, Collie experience would be great, but not essential.
