Hope is a 2 yr old medium sized Crossbreed who is searching for a very special forever home. She is the sweetest girl who is shy at first, especially of men, but soon warms up and is so loving and affectionate. Here’s where Hope needs a special and understanding home: she scuffs her back paws when she walks, and is a little ‘wonky’ when she’s walking sometimes – she has had a CT scan with our vets, which shows that she has a problem with a disc in her lower back – this will be something that she needs management for for example walking her on soft surfaces, non slip mats around the house for example. She doesn’t appear to be in any pain and is a happy, playful young girl, but she might need pain relief on/off in future if she needs it. Hope is perfect around the house – she’s housetrained, can be left for 3-4 hours with no issue and she travels very well. She is good with children, and could live with sensible dog savvy children aged 8+. She loves her walks, and can get a bit over excited when she sees other dogs, but we feel that she has potential to live with a neutered male dog of similar size. She really is the most wonderful young girl who has been dealt some bad luck in her early years, and desperately needs to find a special home who know and love the more ‘wonky’ rescue dogs.
