Iris is a gorgeous scruffy 3 yr old Collie sized crossbreed with tons of character! She is looking for a quiet, experienced home who are confident, but gentle and understanding as she is not comfortable being over handled or being groomed. She is a really lovely, quirky girl who bonds strongly with her family, but is wary around new people – she isn’t suitable to be around children. Iris is very intelligent and would love a home where her brain is worked with further training and mind games – she has a lot of potential! She can live with a tolerant male dog, but can be a bit domineering with other females which can lead to confrontation! No cats for Iris either! She has quite a lot of Collie traits and is very into her toys (a bit too much sometimes as she does have a tendency to guard her toys) and has been known to ‘chase’ cars on her walks. Iris would suit a home in a quieter area, ideally a home in the countryside for relaxed walks. She will need a very secure garden. This beautiful girl has so much potential and will come on in leaps and bounds in the right home.
