Wonderful Wilma is a 4 yr old French Bulldog who is now looking for her dream home! She is looking for a home who have experience with Frenchies and needs to live as the only pet in the home. Wilma is a real character, she’s a little bit cheeky, very loving but loves to do her own thing! Wilma really loves her walks, and is quite fit – she is strong for her size and pulls on the lead but loves to be walked in open spaces (parks/woods etc) on a long line where she can run around and explore. She pulls more in built up areas, mainly because she’s trying to find cats to chase! She most certainly isn’t a cat fan! Wilma is hit and miss around dogs, and will react if one reacts to her, but will probably enjoy playing with the right dog on neutral turf out and about when she’s in the mood! She loves to snooze, but also has mad 20 minutes playing and loves to play fetch with cuddly toys! She needs regular access to the garden as she does have toilet accidents in the house, especially overnight, so needs an understanding home who can get her housetraining back up to scratch (this is improving in her foster home). She is prone to ear infections and itchy skin, very common with her breed, and needs to be fed a good quality diet, her ears regularly cleaned and she may have to be on anti itch medication (Apoquel) for the rest of her life to keep her nice and comfortable. She really will make a great companion, she deserves to be treated like a little princess!!
