Winnie is a cute little 6 year old Pug x Jack Russell (‘Jug’) with loads of character! She has sadly come into our rescue as she has been used for breeding in the past and no longer wanted. She has come a long way since arriving with us, and is now full of life and energy! She is super friendly and loving when she knows you (which doesn’t take long!) and loves attention! She does bark at other dogs/cats and likes all the attention on her, so will need to be the only pet in the home and would really benefit from some training classes where she’ll get used to being around other dogs, she is very much all ‘mouth’, but doesn’t know how to properly interact with dogs. She will need to be in a home with children over the age of 14 only. She absolutely loves a comfy bed and her home comforts! She is house trained and will need a home where she will get plenty of company, but would be fine to be left for a few hours once settled. Winnie REALLY enjoys her walks and to run, she will need an active home where she will get at least 2 walks a day – she may be little, but she can go! We think she’d like to have a go at agility or flyable for little dogs! Her favourite thing ever is to play fetch with a ball – she will play all day, all you have to do is ask her where her ball is and she’ll fetch it over to you! Winnie is very intelligent and would love to learn tricks and use her brain. She travels well in the car and is a very good girl when in the vets. Little Winnie is one in a million, and will make someone very happy to have her in their lives!
