Cherry is an absolutely gorgeous Rottweiler who is small in size for the breed at just 25kg (she may be crossed with something, but we can’t see anything other than Rottie in her!), she is approx 5 yrs old. Cherry is a total sweetheart and is very friendly! She has got some arthrtitis in her back (please read below for more info), so is looking for a home who can give her all she needs to keep her comfy, active and pain free in the future. She loves cuddles and having a fuss and her whole body wiggles when she sees you! She has a fab character and gets really bouncy and excited when she knows she’s going for a walk! She walks well on the lead after some initial pulling. Cherry has been well trained, and knows plenty of commands. She is also housetrained and travels well. Cherry is good with other dogs, and could live with a friendly male (neutered) dog. We have also been told she is fine with cats. Cherry really is a little star and is looking for a 5* home where she will get all the attention, exercise and love she deserves.
MEDICAL ISSUES: We have recently had Cherry’s hips X-Rayed as she walks with a swaying motion, the results showed her hips are fine, but she does have signs of lumbosacral diease, this isn’t a huge problem for her, and doesn’t need any further treatment as such, but potential owners must be aware that she will need management to keep her comfy and active for the rest of her life – hydrotherapy, keeping her a good slim weight on good quality food, joint supplements and occasional anti inflammatory drugs when she gets stiff are what she needs for a happy future.
