Ellie is one very special girl looking for a the special home she so deserves. She is an 8 yr old GSD with the sweetest temperament. Ellie melts everyone’s hearts – she is just so lovely. She can be a little nervous/shy of new people/new places/new experiences, so she needs an understanding adopter who can gently introduce her to everything at her own pace. She is very quiet – in fact, we’ve never heard her bark – and yes, she is a German Shepherd!! Ellie needs a calm, child free home where she will get a lot of company. She will need access to a decent sized fully secure garden. She has been fine around other dogs since arriving with us, and could live with a compatible neutered male. She hasn’t been cat tested. Ellie has been used for breeding, and has spent a lot of her life living outside, but she is very clean in her kennel, and appears housetrained. She doesn’t have much in the way of ‘formal’ basic training, but is obedient and never leaves your side. Ellie loves having a fuss and nudges you to keep stroking her if you stop! She is still under our vets for a long-standing ear infection, so a home in the South Yorkshire area would be ideal as HYPS are covering her ear treatment, but we can be flexible if the perfect home is found for her outside of this area.
