GLORIA! What a girl! This big, bouncy beautiful girl is looking for a home who know and love Bully breeds and their exuberant personalities!! Gloria is only young – approx 2 yrs old (if that), is a medium-large sized Crossbreed (possibly Old Tyme Bulldog cross?) and was sadly found tied up and abandoned. She tries her very best to be the best girl, and does know some commands/will follow instructions, but can get suuuuper excited and has a habit of jumping up at people. She seems to have 2 ‘modes’ – bouncy, or asleep!! She is quite chilled and ‘lazy’ in the house, just with a few giddy moments thrown in! She needs a calm environment, as she really feeds off energy levels – too much excitement and she will join in! Because she can be a boisterous girl, she wouldn’t be suitable to live with children. She is in a foster home, and has been a really good girl in the house – she is housetrained, non destructive and can be left for a few hours with no issue. Gloria is quite a chunk, so can be strong on lead, but once she’s got going, she’s a fairly easy walk. She needs work on engagement with her human, as she finds other people and dogs more exciting at the moment, and will pull towards/jump at people if she gets too close. Dogs she is unsure of and will pull towards some, but around kennels we saw no issues around other dogs. She would need to be the only dog in the home for now, but is definitely workable. Gloria is a bit of a work in progress, but she’s a fantastic girl with tons of potential and will be amazing in the right home.
