Super gorgeous Maverick is an 18 month old Lurcher looking for a Sighthound savvy forever-family. He is a very sweet young man who can be shy at first, but bonds quickly and is then very affectionate and loooves attention! He’s daft, playful and very cheeky!! Maverick has plenty of energy, and will need quite an active home, but please note that he is very reactive to dogs who he doesn’t know, so needs walking in very quiet areas, must be kept on lead, and must be muzzled when out. He can walk with other dogs if introduced correctly and can possibly live with a playful, but slightly older and stable female Lurcher. He can’t live with cats! Maverick needs a home with a VERY secure, good sized garden, and ideally have the opportunity to run in a secure, private off-lead field to stretch those long legs!! He will need plenty of company as he is such a young dog, but does settle well on his own. He is housetrained, travels very well in the car and isn’t a chewer. Mavs is such a beautiful boy, with tons of character who will be the most amazing companion for a patient, experienced home who know and love Sighthounds.
