Maverick is a 5 month old Presa Canario cross Staffy, but appears to have taken more of the Presa gene as he is a big boy already! He is such a sweet boy who hasn’t had the best start to life and hasn’t experienced much of the world before, so he is shy of all things new until he finds his feet. He is in a very experienced foster home and is being introduced to lots of new places and experiences and he is doing really well so far. Maverick can be shy of new dogs at first, but soon comes around, and really enjoys the company of other dogs – he has always lived with dogs and we ideally want to rehome him with at least 1 other stable, confident dog for companionship. Any resident dog must be neutered. Maverick will need an experienced and confident owner to help continue his socialisation as he matures. Mastiff and/or large breed experience is needed. He will need all of his basic training, including housetraining as he is not housetrained at present. Being so young, he will thrive in the right environment and with the right person to show him the way. In return for the time, patience and input he needs now whilst he’s a puppy, his lucky new owner will be rewarded with an incredible, loving and loyal companion for life. Maverick is a special boy and needs a special home.
