Olive the Cane Corso is only 2 years old and is a lovely big goofball who is very typical of her wonderful breed. Olive loves her people and attaches very quickly, which results in her panicking when her person leaves – she can sleep downstairs on her own overnight, but gets upset when left during the day, so she will need a home with lots of company where she won’t be left for long to begin with. She will need a confident owner who understand large breeds and the structure and boundaries they need. Olive also needs a quiet home environment as she will become overwhelmed with lots of goings on. She walks well on the lead, travels very well, is housetrained and knows her basic commands. Olive is generally good with other dogs, but would be best as the only dog in the home as she would not want to share her people with another dog, but can have walking buddies. Olive came into our care from our local stray pound where she had been abandoned with terrible cherry eye in both eyes – she has now had surgery to correct her cherry eye, and has been spayed. She is an amazing girl and will be THE most loyal friend to her new family.
