Scout is a very handsome 10-12 month old black Labrador (working type). He arrived with us as a stray, so we have no history about him. Scout is a bouncy young boy with tons of energy – we are looking for a home who will give him the exercise and also mental stimulation he needs – he’d love scent work and obedience training. He will suit an active, outdoorsy lifestyle. Scout knows his basic commands, and is VERY treat focussed, which will make him fantastic for further training, but he does needs to be taught manners around food as he is snatchy and will scavenge anything he can! As he can be boisterous and sometimes mouthy, he cannot be rehomed with children under the age of 14. He can happily live with another dog, but is not cat tested. Scout is housetrained, settles well in a crate and travels very well in the car. He has huge potential and we are looking for a knowledgeable home to bring him on as he matures. Lab experience is preferred, but we will consider other homes with experience in training dogs who will commit to giving Scout what he needs.
