**ADOPTED** THEO

Theo is a beautiful 2 yr old black Labrador Cross who is quite small in size for a male Lab (he is around 30kg). Theo arrived into our care from a stray kennels where he’d been in kennels for 3 months. As you can imagine, he is now full of beans and raring to make up for lost time with lots of walks! He is a very friendly young man and has clearly had plenty of training in the past as he is obedient and knows plenty of commands – he is very bright and very eager to please and learn. He is also very clean in his kennel and doesn’t chew. Theo can be a handful around other dogs – he gets very OTT when he sees another dog and seems to be most excited when he sees small dogs. He will pull and cry when he sees dogs, and sometimes bark. We really feel this is due to spending such a long time in kennels surrounded by barking dogs, rather than overt ‘aggression’ and he needs socialising carefully with a calm larger dog to start with and build up positive calm experiences with other dogs. He will need to be rehomed as the only pet for now. Theo needs a home with children aged 12+. He will need an active home ideally in a more rural area. Experienced dog owners only for Theo to help him with his socialisation around other dogs. He will also need direct access to a very secure garden. Theo is an absolute cracker and will be an amazing addition to the right home who can give him what he needs to become a well rounded, happy young boy.
