Alfie is such a happy boy – he is an 8 year old Cavalier who is a real little character and always smiling. Alfie does have some health issues – he has a heart murmur (which doesn’t need medication, but he may need in future), and also has a bad luxating patella, which he needs surgery for. He needs to lose a few kg in weight, so we want to get him settled, and get his weight down before he has surgery on his leg – HYPS will cover the cost of his surgery. He is a really friendly boy who is dog and cat friendly. He can be rehomed with children aged 12+. Alfie LOVES his walks, and gets a little over-excited at walk time, but once he’s out he walks really nicely on the lead. He will need a home who can commit to 2-3 20/30 min walks a day for him – it keeps him nice and settled. Alfie is fully housetrained and can be left for a few hours, but would prefer as much company as he can get! He LOVES to cuddle up with you on the sofa, and LOVES to keep a close eye on the kitchen at all times in case there’s a little treat going spare!! He is on a strict diet at the moment, so not too many treats for Alfie just now! Alfie is such a lovely little boy who will make a brilliant companion.
