Meet Alfie! He came to us from the stray pound in quite bad condition – his skin was sore and he was quite underweight. Despite this, he has been the friendliest chap with EVERYONE he has met from day 1! Alfie is around 4 years old, we think he’s a SBT cross EBT – his face really does smile when he’s happy! He is now in a foster home where he’s coming on in leaps and bounds. He is living with a female Staffy and is very friendly with other dogs when he’s out on walks – he can get a bit over excitable and his play can get rough, so it needs to be kept in check! He walks nicely on the lead and really enjoys his walks, but then also having a good snooze in his bed after. We think he would be happy living as the only dog, or with a tolerant female. He is really well behaved around the house – fully housetrained, sleeps well overnight and is fine to be left for a few hours with no issues. He also travels very well in the car. Alfie can get a little over excited and does sometimes mouth when he’s playing, so we think he’d be best in a home with children over 10. He really is a fantastic dog who is so clever and eager to please – he’ll make his new family smile every day!
