He is a quirky little lad who has his own personality. He can be a little shy/nervous of new people, and likes gentle introductions best. Basil is the type of dog who needs a little time to bond with a new owner, but once bonded he will be the most faithful companion and never want to leave your side. He needs a home where he will not be left for long and will have free run of the house as he will not want to be shut away from his owner. He is fab around the house and is fully housetrained. Basil’s one true love is his tennis ball – he will play fetch all day if he could and drops the ball in your lap to be thrown for him! As he loves his toys so much, he does NOT want to share these with other dogs (and doesn’t want to share his human either!), so wants to live as the only pet in the home. He is best suited to a quieter home with no children. Basil would love a home where he gets plenty of good long walks – he’s a typical Terrier and likes to be on the go!
