Ben is the most friendly Staffy who is fantastic with children, he was adopted 2 years ago to a loving family but has sadly had to come back into our care through no fault of his own. He is a perfect family dog and don’t be fooled by his grey face, he may be around 9 yrs old, but he has plenty of energy and LOVES playing with his tennis ball and going for walks! Ben is lovely to walk and walks nicely on the lead, he will wait if you stop and is easy going when he’s out and about. He is perfectly behaved in the house – he is fully housetrained, doesn’t chew at all and also travels well in the car. He is fine sleeping downstairs at night, but also likes to sleep on his bed in a bedroom with his humans! He is a clever chappy who knows how to open doors, and will need a secure garden to have fun in! Ben isn’t very happy with other dogs coming into his space, and will snap if they come too close, but he will ignore dogs at a distance, especially if he has his beloved tennis ball! This is easily managed, but he does just need to be kept on his lead if in an area where there are other dogs and possibly muzzled if there will be lots of dogs running up to him in a park. He has such character, and is so well behaved you can’t not love Ben!!
