Benji the Patterdale is a proper little character who is looking for a home who love his breed. He is amazingly 10 yrs old, but (as is always the case for Patterdales!), age is just a number, and Benji is still full of energy! He LOVES getting out for walks, and exploring! He is reactive on lead to dogs, but we do feel that he would get used to some canine walking friends in time, with very slow introductions on lead. He has so much love and loyalty to give his new owner, and shouldn’t be homeless at his age. He is best suited to a pet and child free home (but would be fine with sensible visiting children). A home who know and love Terriers with their sensitive ways, and who understand that Benji will prefer walks in quieter areas where he won’t come across many other dogs is what he needs. He really will make the best little companion .. all he asks for is some belly rubs in return!!
