Marley is such a special boy who is the youngest 12 year old Staffy cross we have ever met! If it wasn’t for his dob on his microchip, we would estimate him to be half that age! He is in great health, and age is just a number for Marley! He came to us an emergency following the passing of his owner, and has proven just what an amazing boy he is in foster care. He is very settled around the house, fully housetrained, travels well and is just an all round good boy. Marley can be rehomed with sensible children, and has been amazing around everyone – his foster mum even thinks he would be an amazing therapy dog – he even acted like an assistance dog when his foster mum had a friend visiting who had a seizure – what a special boy. Marley would love a home where he will get plenty of company, but his foster mum has been working on building up his time left alone and he can now settle for an hour or 2, but he thrives on company so wouldn’t want to be left much more than this. He isn’t interested in other dogs out and about, and walks well on his lead – he isn’t too interested in his walks and prefers time in the garden playing with his toys and sunbathing! He has had a visiting dog around to his foster home who he was OK around until she growled, which Marley wasn’t happy with, so we think he would be happiest as the only dog, but could have walking friends. All in all, this boy is truly special, and really deserves a 5* ‘retirement’ home! Please note: Marley is a gentle, easy going boy but is bigger than a small Staffy – he weighs 27kg.
