Max is such a sweet, sensitive Staffy boy looking to find his best friend. He is almost 6 years old and is fit and well (just a little bit overweight!). Max came into rescue through no fault of his own and has previously lived with a cat and dog before. He is housetrained and settles well in the house, but will howl if left alone initially bless him. Max is such a sensitive boy who can be anxious in new places/environments, and would love a quiet life where he will have a nice routine to follow. He does enjoy getting out on walks, but can be anxious out and about and doesn’t yet relax enough to stop and sniff/scent mark etc – regular walks in similar quiet areas to build up his confidence of being out and about will really help him. He can be vocal and pull towards other dogs out of frustration at the moment, but hasn’t shown any aggression. He would most likely enjoy some calm walking friends for some confidence. He really is the sweetest boy who will be the most loyal companion.
