Peanut is an adorable small Staffy cross (probably terrier) who is around 8 yrs old. He is such a sweet boy who desperately needs to find a loving, caring and understanding home. He arrived with us as a stray, and has clearly had an awful life up until now – he is covered in old and new scars all over his face and legs, presumably from being attacked by other dogs. He can be shy if approached by people when he’s on lead and tucks his tail between his legs, but is friendly and absolutely loves people in typical Staffy fashion! He bonds very strongly with his people, and really struggles to be apart from his owner. He suffers with seperation anxiety and will howl/cry/have accidents if left alone, so he needs a home where he will not be left alone (and will need to sleep in the same room as his owner). He is a wonderful, well behaved boy who has great manners around the house. Peanut needs a quiet child and pet free home and must have direct access to a very secure garden. He enjoys his walks and walks well on his lead, but finds other dogs scary (for obvious reasons!) – his tail goes under when he sees another dog, and if they react to him, he will react back in defense. He will need walking in quiet areas. Peanut is a very special little boy who couldn’t be more deserving of finding a 5* home who will give him all the love in the world.
