Oh Rex! He absolutely melts our hearts with that toothy grin and frosty face! Rex is 13 years young and such a fabulous old boy! He is a typical little Staffy who is happy chappy, very sweet and friendly and does not let the fact that he’s in his senior years hold him back! Rex is looking for a home who have the right ‘setup’ for a senior dog – he needs direct access to a secure garden, not too many stairs to contend with and will need mats/rugs putting down on any slippy flooring to prevent him slipping around and hurting his legs. He loves his walks, but it’s important that he doesn’t overdo it, so short 20 min walks a couple of times a day are ideal for Rexy – but we think he would like going in a dog buggy if you did want to do longer trips out with him!! He can be rehomed with children aged 12+, but would be fine with sensible younger aged visiting children. Rex can be ‘hit and miss’ with other dogs, and will need to be the only pet. He is fully housetrained, travels well in the car and walks nicely on his lead – he’s a little star!! Rex so deserves to find his happy ever after retirement home where he will be treated like a little Prince!
