Rex is a beautiful tri colour Border Collie type boy who is 8 years old. He has a fantastic nature, is so soft with everyone he meets (even brilliant in the vets!). He’s very affectionate and really enjoys having a fuss. Rex is great around the house – he is housetrained, calm and can be left for a few hours with no problems, he also travels well in the car. He has happily been around children of all ages with no issues at all. He knows plenty of commands and loves to give his paw for treats! Rex has had bad experiences around other dogs (he was recently attacked quite badly), as such he isn’t a fan of other dogs at the moment, he has lived with another male dog in the past, but he is happiest living as the only pet. On walks he will bark at other dogs, this is definitely something that can be worked on, he is a very intelligent boy and with some guidance we think he’ll be more comfortable around other dogs again. He is currently living in a foster home while he waits for his forever home – his foster carer has said Rex is a real gentleman and a pleasure to foster. Rex is the most lovely boy, he charms everyone he meets and he really deserves a loving home of his own this winter.
