Woody is a gorgeous medium sized Viszla type Crossbreed. He has had such a bad start to life – he was found on the streets of Bulgaria by a wonderful couple, who brought him back home with them to the U.K., but sadly their resident dog wasn’t keen on Woody so he has had to come into our care. Woody has a large scar around his neck, we aren’t sure what this is from but it does look like he’s been tied up for a long time, he also has shotgun pellets in his skin (these aren’t problematic for him at all luckily). Despite all of this, Woody loves people and is so trusting. He is also great with children. Woody has clearly had some bad experiences around other dogs as he gets upset when first meeting dogs and will have a growl if they come too close. He is OK with laid back female dogs as long as they don’t bother him too much, but would be happiest as the only pet. Woody is very well behaved – he is housetrained (may have some accidents while settling in) and will be OK to be left for a couple of hours once he has settled into his new home. He walks very nicely on the lead with no pulling and travels fine in the car. Woody desperately deserves a loving forever home ASAP – he is so unhappy in kennels.
