Little Zippy is a gorgeous cheeky Whippet x Collie who is very much still a puppy at 10-11 months old. He is looking for an experienced forever home. He is a very intelligent, bouncy sweet little chap with tons of energy and personality but sadly hasn’t had much socialisation or exercise in his life so far, so is a pent up bundle of nerves when out and about on walks, which shows itself in Zippy being very barky at things (so far we have seen that horses and strange people particularly upset him). Zippy has come on a lot since arriving with us and has shown how responsive to training he is, and in the right home he will come on in leaps and bounds. He is now in a foster home with 2 other dogs and cats, who he is fine with. He is housetrained and crate trained. He needs a home where boundaries can be put in place straight away so that he doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety as he matures. He LOVES to play with his toys, loves his food/treats and will make an absolutely fantastic dog for someone who will put the work into him to work his mind as well as exercise him. He would love something to put his mind to like flyball, agility or even Canicross. He will need a very secure garden and we are looking for a home for him in a quiet area where his socialisation can gradually be worked on at his pace.
