Big Ted is only 2-3 yrs old – he is a DDB X American Bulldog, so he’s a big strong boy, but he is a big softie who can be a proper scaredy cat of things at times bless him! He is very friendly with everyone he meets, and loves leaning into you for a good head scratch. Teddy is dog friendly, and may be able to live with a suitable larger breed female dog. He needs a calm home environment as he is easily over-excited, which can sometimes lead to him mouthing and generally getting a bit silly, so the key to a happy Teddy is a calm approach! He is housetrained and knows some basic commands. On his lead, he generally walks fairly well, but he can be very strong due to his size, so does need a home who can confidently handle large breeds. We have seen that Teddy is really worried about walking on slippery flooring, so he will need runners putting down on any slippy flooring in the house. He will come on so well in a family who have plenty of large breed experience and have the time and commitment to give him what he needs.
