Poppy is a lovely small sized (9kg) Jack Russell cross Corgi type Crossbreed who is around 4 years old. She is a beautiful red tan colour with big pointy ears. Poppy was quite shy when she arrived but she is soon coming out of her shell now she’s settling in and showing her cheeky terrier personality! She has lived with children in the past and could be rehomed with children aged 10 and over. She has also lived with another dog, but did prefer to have all the attention, so would be happiest as the only pet in the home. She can be a bit snappy with unknown dogs at times and would benefit from a bit more socialising. Poppy loves her cuddles and would be suited to a home where she can have lots of attention and not be left for long periods. She is fully housetrained. She really enjoys her walks, and walks nicely on the lead, but she can be a madam and play tug of war with the lead if she’s going somewhere she doesn’t want to! Poppy would do really well in a home who have some experience with terriers and can spend time with her.
