Little Honey is a 10-11 yr old Yorkshire Terrier who is looking for her dream retirement home. She is a typical Yorkie and is quite the little character! Honey is currently living in a foster home with 2 other dogs, but she prefers not to be bothered by other dogs, and would be happiest as an only dog. She is no bother around the house and is a very ‘easy’ house guest. She is housetrained (but will have accidents while she settles in), and fine to be left for a few hours. Honey’s life has been thrown up in the air recently with the loss of her owner, which has understandably unsettled her, so she needs to be given her space and time to settle, but as her confidence grows in her new home and her bond with her new owner builds, she will become more affectionate. At the moment she doesn’t want to be fussed too much. She cannot live with children under 16, as she can be grumpy and is easily startled which can result in a little nip from time to time. She does still enjoy her walks and walks very nicely on the lead (no pulling), 20 minute strolls are perfect for her. Honey really does deserve a second chance at happiness, we are seeing signs of youthful playful moments as she settles in her foster home which is lovely, we are sure in the right home she will really blossom and will become a loyal companion.
