**ADOPTED** JONI – special, very shy Dachshund needs patient home

Little Joni the 6 yr old Dachshund is now looking for an understanding, patient and quiet child free home with at least 1 other friendly dog. Joni has had an awful start to life being used as a breeding machine and has never been a ‘pet’, so human affection is alien to her and she doesn’t understand how to interact with humans but has never ever shown any form of aggression. She adores other dogs, and snuggles up with them at any opportunity. Joni is not housetrained, she will go on puppy pads, but also will have accidents on anything soft – carpets/rugs etc, so she needs a really patient home who can help her with this in time. She is fine to be left on her own for a few hours as long as she’s got other dogs with her. Joni will have never travelled in a car before, so she does get travel sick and messes herself in the car. We are ideally looking for a home with breed experience for little Joni, but this is not essential, ideally a home with more than 1 other dog would be perfect. She will need access to a secure garden as she isn’t used to walking on a lead at the moment. This little lady is a very special girl who deserves the very best in life from now on.
